ALPRWeb - PMPF LLC

What we do...

ALPRWeb is Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR), or Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), software solution developed just for law enforcement.

How we started,

We had one of those after work "If I were king" conversations lamenting the idea of having multiple silos of LPR data and the detectives struggling to understand the interfaces that each had. We knew there could be a better answer... We couldn't find a solution so we made one.

* We wanted to have interoperability to other silos of readers and reader data.

* Avoid ALPR as a service. We know ALPRs as a service is issue driven because when the grant is over or the budget gets tight, again...It will be gone.

* Not limit access to your data or resell it.

* Have use of any hardware whose manufacturer allows for 3rd party integration.

* Not limit or control the retention period of your data. You know the average time between incident and adjudication for your jurisdiction.

* Have real hot list management, knowing their values and pitfalls.

* Allow for friendly hardware transition so when the old technology expires you can protect your investment in working cameras.

* Create actionable information avoiding common data rich / information poor pitfalls.

* Design with policing as the sole customer. Avoid it being a secondary process to parking management, shopping mall security, neighborhood groups or gate control.

* Prevent multiple user interface systems within a department simplifying training and management.

* Use developers that have years of LE experience so all aspects of the product are connected to the LE task.

* A single place where new silos of existing or new data could be easily be brought in.

* Integrate multiple outside data sources like CAD, RMS, E-Ticketing and other plate silos for custom solutions. (** Note: We will not integrate ANY DOR or similar silo of data.)

* We mandated that we need to maintain control of exactly what entity gets the data. Too often there are layers of reuse and aggregation of the data leading to unwanted or unknown entities getting access to LPR data.

Get results:

The result of these goals was to unify the data and shorten the time between offense and adjudication. Studies and LE statements support that we are successful. Whether its dispatch, investigations or in the field, law enforcement needs ALPR software that works the way you do, not the other way around.

Simply... Put your department back in charge of your plate information. Share it only with whom you want, when and how you want. We also have a solution for regional ALPR data management.

We don't believe in the cold call or hard sell. Our customers are products of word of mouth and testimonials based on our reputation of taking care of our users. We to have suffered relentless push by sales people and so we would rather support others so they can do police work.
